ive been receiving happy news from yesterday..HahA ! once in a blue moon i get to receive good news on consecutive days. HaHA! (yesterdays good news was my exams results.)
anyway.a few months back..i submitted two photos under the photoraphy category at noisesingapore.com. one was LOOKING THRU THE WALLS and the other was BLOCKS OF COLOURS.
and in the afternoon just now, while otw to nizam's block,i received a call from this someone who asked for my dad! HahA!
why would my dad give his daughter's no. instead of his own.and so i asked that lady.
lady: can i speak to mr. *insert my dad's name here*
me: ouh im his daughter.
lady: is he in.?
me: ..may i knoe who r u and where calling from? cos why would my dad ever give my number instead of his own?(at first i though it was just some stupid prank lucky draw.)
lady: so..u are AMALINA?
me: yes i am.!*insert smile*
lady: ouh.im from noise singapore.im here to inform u that ur entry have been shortlisted.
me: huh.?what?NOISE SInGAPORE?really.?? hahah!(and then suddenly my english became so fluent and i was smiling all the way while talking to her!haha!)
then she told me they need the hi-res copy of it. i was so happy at that moment. nyahahahah! the one that has been shortlisted was "BLOCK OF COLOURS".
iasked her what do i get when my worjk have been shortlisted and she said it would be published in the media! hAhaha! so..people..watch out for the november's issue of magazines such as JUICE....ISHmagazine..DESIGN...and the others i dunno..but..i dowan to confirm anything first here..cos i'll be having an appointment with them tomoro...they'll tell me the full details then. HEHE!
i am hapy because this is the FIRST TIME i submitted an entry for photography and it has been SHORLISTED! hehe!
im going to school tomoro to support hady mirza cos he's coming to TP tomoro..
i dun really like singapore idol 1 nor 2!.. *bleahxx*
oh ya..went to queensway just now with nizam and before that, was having tuition with hakim.=)
